19th Annual Kidfest is back this Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Bay County Fair Grounds 10am-4pm!

Kidfest, a celebration of children, is an annual community event filled with fun for the whole family. Children of all ages enjoy a variety of activities sponsored by over 100 area organizations and businesses.
KidFest is a beloved local event filled with activities, food and numerous entertainers showcasing their talents throughout the entire day. Performances range from dancers and puppeteers to the popular Kidfest Vocal competition, where competitors showcase their singing chops for a shot at taking home the grand prize, specifically created for students ages 12 to 17.
Preliminary auditions will be held during Kidfest on Saturday, April 21 from 10am-12:30pm. Judges will choose 10 finalists to compete during the Kidfest Vocal Star Competition from 3pm-4pm, concluding the festival.
KidFest usually brings out about 6,000 participants annually, so be sure to come early, in order to avoid traffic and the dreaded toddler meltdowns during parking excursions. Additional parking is available at Gulf Power with shuttle services to the Fairgrounds.
All proceeds from Kidfest support the programs of EEC. The Early Education and Care, Inc. (EEC) is a private, not-for-profit corporation providing vital social services in Bay County since 1972.
